To all the staff at St Michaels,

We would like to thank everybody for everything you did for my Mother during her respite at St Michaels. The staff were all very kind and patient with her and she still talks very fondly of you all. She made a couple of good friends who she sat with in the dining room, who she is very keen to come back to see.

Mum still comments how good the personal care was by all the care staff, they really made her feel comfortable. We know she built up good relationships with the staff. 

We have to say you changed our opinions on Care Homes, St Michaels feels more like a hotel than a Care Home

I just wanted to thank everybody that looked after my Mother while she was with you, she is settled in to her new home now. I know she misses St Michaels dearly, your home is much more homely and welcoming than the one she is in now.

She still talks about her birthday at St Michaels, where the cook took the time to make her a birthday cake and there was a birthday party for her with all the other residents. She was really touched by this and had a truely memorable day.

Dear Staff,

With both my parents going into care homes i have seen a fair few and i have to say yours was by far the best, St Michaels had a unique quality about it, you feel like you're in a hotel. It has such a warm and welcoming entrance and the home is so bright and airy.

One other thing I always comment about when telling others about St Michaels is the entertainment, every day there was something for my father to do whether it was an entertainer brought in to the home, an outing for the day or care staff spending one to one time with my father helping him with his cross words and puzzle books. Especially at his time of life i feel this kept him bright and optimistic for the day ahead and that was priceless.
